Default pet attacks...?

I made a P/R just so that i could see my pet use some of those attack skills and have him set off anthem of flame or any other anthem/shout/chant.

why doesnt it set it off In the description of all pet attacks it plainly says "Pet Attack. ..." put my next attack will not trigger it, and the pets next attack doesnt trigger it. why...?

It's because YOU are using the skill, not the pet.

EDIT: Just to mention something, in chapter 1 there is an elite pet attack (Ferocious Strike) that gives adrenaline and energy when it hits. Might be useful for a paragon.

sorry i wasnt very clear, muppet, but i know im using the attack skill, and that is what i meant to say when i said my next attack will not trigger it either. so its like using an attack skill, but making neither the owner of the pet nor the pet actually USE the skill, even though it clearly states it is an attack skill.

in short why doesnt it affect the pet if it uses the attack or why doesnt it affact me since i payed for the attack...

You're not actually using an attack skill, IE a skill that buffs or changes YOUR next attack. And your pet doesn't actually USE the skill, you do, so it doesn't trigger then either. I would look into getting a pet Bear tho, since they are the only pet (that I know of) that actually USES a skill.

It is strange, though, because when I take 2 BM heroes w/ pet and my own pet, I get 6 energy back (w/ 12 LDR) by using it. So technically, the pets are affected by the shout. They're just not able to activate attack skills to trigger it. Too bad.

On the plus side, Blazing Finale triggers just fine with "Go for the Eyes!".
